Quelle est la différence entre Begin et Start ?

Eh bien, il n’y en a pas. Les deux mots veulent dire la même chose, alors on peut les utiliser de la même manière. La seule chose à savoir est que begin est plus formel que start. Begin est un verbe irrégulier. Sa forme au passé simple est began et son participe passé est begun.

 

Quelques exemples :

  • I cleared my interview and I begin work next week.
  • The Vietnam War began in 1955.
  • Autumn has already begun. How time flies!
  • Start, à son tour, est un verbe régulier (start, started, started), et est moins formel.

 

Quelques exemples :

  • I always start my day with a nice cup of coffee.
  • I started working for this company last year.
  • I have started learning English with YESNYOU Ouest.

  • One should help family and close friends first before helping others
